Theo Cojoianu provides further insight into a report examining the Net Zero Asset Owners Alliance (NZAOA) voting records to determine whether institutional investors who joined the NZAOA correlated to an increase in pro-climate voting.
The report found that although NZAOA members were early adopters of strong climate stewardship, joining the alliance does not result in asset owners improving their voting in favour of climate resolutions compared to those not in NZAOA.
