B-CCaS member Atreya Dey recently presented his research, entitled ‘Volatile Temperatures: Effects on Equity Returns and Firms Performance’, to the United States Federal Reserve Board, Financial Stability Workshop.
Atreya’s research explores how variability in temperature anomalies impacts US firms and investors. The statistical framework underpinning the research is scalable and can be used as a reference for to assess the effects of physical climate risks for other geographies.
The presentation was very well received by the Federal Reserve Board.
