B-CCaS Director Professor Luca Taschini has been invited to speak at an event hosted by the European Roundtable on Climate Change and Sustainable Transition (ERCST).

The event will discuss the EU’s Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM) and the implementing acts that will determine rules for the methods and processes for crediting carbon prices paid in the country of origin.

The discussion will cover the method for crediting carbon prices, including the possibility of bilateral agreements with trade partners and how to treat non-pricing policies such as those adopted in major trade partners.
