In June 2022, Business School staff and students contributed to the consultation on developing a UK Emissions Trading Scheme.
Luca Taschini and two students from our MSc in Climate Change, Finance and Investment, Alejandro Galindo Amezquita and William Moores, co-authored this written evidence to the consultation by the UK ETS Authority on 'Developing the UK Emissions Trading Scheme' (ETS) for the Grantham Research Institute.
It responds to questions relating to implementing a net zero consistent ETS cap, Free Allocation policy, the expansion of the UK ETS to additional sectors, and incorporating greenhouse gas removal into the scheme.
